Yesterday, tucked away in a dark dusty place, I found a set of books I could have sworn perished in a house fire six years ago.
I almost cried.

Oh, wonderful! It makes you appreciate the “lost” things even more, but these were apparently really special in the first place anyway. 🙂
Yes it does! And yes, they are very special and I now have a new appreciation for them.
What a great feeling that must have been! No more lost “Rosebud” for you. 🙂
They were your Nana’s favorites too! I remember them. She loved to read and her writing were exceptional! I so missed her when she moved to Maine. That was another world away for me.
Carmen and the Golden Coast sustained a lot of water damage from the fire. Nana loved books. She gave me a lot over the years.
